Synchronization Needs Amidst Growing Google Workspace Usage
The use of Google Workspace at collège Regina Assumpta has increased significantly since the pandemic, becoming a central tool for teachers. Faced with this growth, the need to modify user synchronization has become evident to better reflect the institution’s reality.
With a team consisting of an IT Director and 3 technicians, the college manages a significant IT infrastructure, with over 2200 students equipped with laptops and connected to a wireless network. To meet Google’s security requirements regarding third-party applications used by minor students, the college decided to refine its Active Directory configuration. The goal is to better align this configuration with the specific needs of each user and facilitate the management of third-party applications.
Synchronizing Data with Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS)
